History of the King James Bible translation, a few years before and a few years after 1611.
Before the 16th. Century, England was witnessing a great impact of a Doctrine. At that time it became known
as The Doctrine of The Quakers, the doctrine adopted by WILLIAM PENN who spelled from England became the founder of Pennsylvania
State, in America. Their slogan was “ The Christian religion is the way of attaining eternal life which God had pointed
out by Jesus Christ, and it may be learned in the Holy Scriptures, especially in the New Testament”. ( …buildt
upon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; in whom all the building
fitly framed together growth unto a holy temple in the Lord. In whom ye also are builded together for a habitation of God
through the Spirit.)
That doctrine was not only a thorn in the flesh to the English men who had received the Romish belief, but also to the
Calvinist believers, and them of the Society of the Trinity and even to King James Himself.
In 1593 The One God believers were accused of “ …the horrible blasphemies and devilish teachings of these Hereticks…to
say that the eternal generation of the Son to be against reason…
Here it is what was preached at that time, “Jesus was truly a mortal man while he lived on the earth, but at the
same time the only-begotten Son of God; being conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin.
…he was distinguished for the perfect holiness of his life, endwed with divine wisdom and power, was sent by the
Father with supreme authority on an embasy to mankind, By his resurrection, he was begotten a second time, and became like
God, immortal. (Acts 13:22-29, Rom. 1:2-4, Col. 1:18, Rev. 1:15, Acts 26:23,
1st. Cor.15:20, John 5:26, Rom. 6:9, John 12:34, 2nd. Tim.1:10, Rev. 1:18.
At the beginning of 1611, a so called Protestant commission was busy issuing threats of death by public burning; Catholics
and Protestants united themselves to carry on in those crimes.
In 1604 a Puritan scholar Dr. John Reynolds in a closed conference at Hampton Court Palace, made a suggestion to King James
that a new translation of the present Bibles (Bishops Bible, Geneva Bible and the called Great Bible, was needed) of which
bibles, The Queen had ordered “one copy to each church of England to be read to the believers, and one copy to Each
Bishop for personal reading; the King agreed to the suggestion and the work for a new translation began taking about 7 years
to completion and began
to be popularized at 1611.
1611 -12 The last One God preachers burnt was on April 1st. Edward Wightman burnt in Lichfield. Queen Elizabeth
hearing of it said, She was very sorrowful hearing that there were such Monsters in her Kingdom;
King James had visited the preacher (unknown reason) and ended their conversation by spurning him with his foot; the King
could had mercy on adulterous favorites…but could not have none to a honest preacher- business man who had lived a blameless
life.
1612 After all that, King James declared that believers like that “…hereafter should waste themselves away
in prison instead of the public execution”. Though the King authorized the New Translation of the Holy Scriptures, yet
he had rejected the One God who inspired such Scriptures!
A popular singing at that time:
Talk of essence, and substance,
And no one knows what!
God either made Jesus, or else He did not.
If made, Jesus is a CREATURE, without more ado;
If not, Jesus is a God-and then there is TWO.
