DOES THE BIBLE CALLS JESUS “THE ETERNAL FATHER”?

Which is HE?

We know that people of the Christian Religion is divided over the question whether Jesus is, or is not called in the Holy Scriptures “The Eternal Son of God”. Some say that Jesus existed in past eternity as a Man next to another Man, the Father. Others says that Jesus existed in past eternity as a spirit with the Father who ..is a Spirit.. .

I suppose this kind of faith could came from reading the Scriptures that presents Jesus saying …Abraham rejoiced to see my day; and he saw it… ,and …before Abraham was. I am… John 8:56,58. And Jesus praying to the Father (Spirit) …glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. John 17:5. And from the Apostles:

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God…, also 1s. John 4:3 …every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God..

And from Paul’s writing about Jesus: …who being in the form of God… Phil. 2:6, also …for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them and that Rock was Christ. 1s. Cor.10: 4 and from 1s. Peter 1:11 ..Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them (the prophets) and the great revelation given to Peter to say … thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. Matt.16: 16

Now then, let’s consider however, what the Lord Jesus had to say to a group of Sadducees and a moment latter to another group of Pharisees: “ye do err, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God…and while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them saying, What think ye of Christ? Whose son is he? …if David then call him Lord, how is he his son? And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions> Matt. 22:29,41-46.

So, no one can refute that those Pharisees were part of the Israelites: to whom …pertained the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service to God and the promises. Rom. 9:4, they were the only oracles of God!. But from them never was mentioned that God had a Son with him in heaven; the question is, where did this term of “Eternal Son” came from? It appears to be a mysterious term that appeared in the early centuries of Christianity. .

Who made the Holy Scripture say that God existed in eternity past as a group of “divine persons”?, (Father Son and Holy Ghost) the Prophets of God didn’t, neither the Apostles of the Lord Jesus, God’s Holy Word

Has never say that; GOD DOES NOT CONTRADICTS HIMSELF AS SOME PREACHERS DO WHEN TRYING TO EXPLAIN AWAY THEIR PREACHING OF ETERNAL SONSHIP OF THE SAVIOR.

Here are some examples: The “inventors” of the dogma “God in Three Persons”, said this when that “invention” was first formulated: “God in three SEPARATED PERSONS…, but now days, it is preach

Different, saying: “God is a single individual being existing AS THREE PERSONS, NOT SEPARATED BEINGS.

Some other discrepancies they have is when they approved the philosophy of Justin the martyr (second Century) who wrote about the Father as The FIRST GOD, AND TO THE SON HE ASSIGNED THE SECOND PLACE BECAUSE HE WAS WITH THE FATHER.

Now days it has changed also, and it is preach that the Son and the Father are EQUAL FROM ETERNITY. (Who are right, the INVENTORS or the MODIFIERS??)

But why the modification? Jesus is the same yesterday, today and for ever. Heb.13: 8 if he was not the “literal Son of God in heaven” why then “they” assigned to Him the title of ETERNAL SON OF GOD?

Also, like they say now, that the Father and the Son ARE EQUAL FROM ETERNITY PAST, if that is their case, why the sonship was designated to The Lord Jesus, in the other hand, when the Holy Scriptures use the term “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son…John 3:16 and from Heb. 1:6 …when he (the Father) bringeth in the first begotten into the world. This of course didn’t happen in heaven as the inventors of the Trinity dogma suggested when they stated: WE BELIEVE IN ONE GOD, THE FATHER ALMIGHTY, MAKER OF ALL THINGS, VISIBLE AND INVISIBLE, AND IN ONE LORD JESUS THE WORD FROM GOD, LIGHT FROM LIGHT, LIFE FROM LIFE, THE ONLY BEGOTTEN OF THE FATHER BEFORE ALL WORLDS. How the Son could be begotten of His Father in heaven, and be at the same time as His Father, WITHOUT BEGINNING OF TIME? And worse yet as they said …the only begotten of the Father before all worlds; does not we read from John 3:16 that the human Jesus was the …only begotten Son of God.. And the Scripture gives this testimony that the Father said to the babe born …Thou art my Son, this day have I BEGOTTEN thee… according to the inventors of the eternal Son doctrine, The Father has TWO ONLY BEGOTTEN SON and Trinitarian people believe that, without noticing the implication of it!. WHAT A TRAGEDY OF BELIEF!

Bible commentator Mr. Adam Clarke in his commentary of Luke 1:35 has this to say of the words from the angel Gabriel to the virgin Mary …therefore that Holy Thing which shall be born of thee, shall be also called the Son of God. He said…we most see the two natures in Christ, the human nature called Son of God and the Divine nature, which was from eternity…; and then very clear refutes the belief in the existence of Christ as the eternal Son of God, calling that doctrine anti-scriptural and highly dangerous.

How about that! You Ministers who boast in the great wisdom and Bible knowledge of Mr. Clarke? I will say that he had his pencil in the right place to write that! He was not Pentecostal but Methodist. Instructed in the way of the Lord according to Methodism; had he been Pentecostal, he could had say here a little, there a little, quite a bit more! Probable he did walk his fingers through the Catholic Encyclopedia or perhaps through The Dictionary of Sects, Heresies, and School of Thought.1890 (?). About Mr. Clarke commentary on … that Holy Thing … shall be called ALSO, The Son of God…, why the word ALSO is there? Because it is written in the original, BUT NOT ON THE TRANSLATIONS and Mr. Clarke knew that!

The UNBEGOTTEN FORM OF GOD IN HEAVEN NEVER WAS CALLED Son, but in His “human form” plus all the titles and attributes and qualified adjectives of His Godhead ALSO HE WAS GOING TO BE CALLED THE SON OF GOD! And about Mr. Clarke’s suggestion “to see the two natures” in that “Holy Thing”, the human nature called Son of God in the virgin mother to be, who was told from heaven …THIS DAY, I HAVE BEGOTTEN THEE…, AND THE ANGELS WERE TOLD …LET ALL THE ANGELS OF GOD WORSHIP HIM. And that after He told them, …I WILL BE (not I have been) TO HIM A FATHER… . Heb.1:5,6.

The Catholic Church who originated the doctrine of the Trinity also imposed the confession to the priest, they did honor however that practice when they confessed (so to speak) …THE DOCTRINE OF THE TRINITY AS PROFESSED BY THE CHURCH, IS NOT CONTAINED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT… …NOWHERE IN THE OLD TESTAMENT DO WE FIND ANY CLEAR INDICATION OF A THIRD PERSON… …THERE IS NOTHING TO SHOW THAT THE SPIRIT WAS VIEW AS A DISTINCT FROM JEHOVAH HIMSELF. (From another segment) THE VATICAN COUNCIL HAS EXPLAINED THE MEANING TO BE ATTRIBUTED TO THE TERM MYSTERY IN THEOLOGY, IT LAYS DOWN THAT A MYSTERY IS A TRUTH WHICH WE ARE NOT MERELY INCAPABLE OF DISCOVERING APART FROM DIVINE REVELATION BUT WHICH EVEN WHEN REVEALED, REMAINS ‘HIDDEN BY A VEIL OF FAITH AND ENVELOPED SO TO SPEAK, BY A KIND OF DARKNESS. IN OTHER WORDS, OUR UNDERSTANDING OF IT REMAINS ONLY PARTIAL, EVEN AFTER WE HAVE ACCEPTED IT AS PART OF THE DIVINE MESSAGE.

What is this? If not a confession of their failure and bewilderment to accept for themselves what is so popular now-days: …we cannot explained, we only accept it by faith to be so, nobody will ever understand the mystery .. ; of course, they talk and preach like that! Because “it” has been inherited from the very originators of that; right to the new speaking with tongues people who have been vacuumed into it!.

How different that sounds because of the diametrical opposite grounds to where the Apostle Paul was standing when he wrote, … “That veil is taken away by Christ.”. 2^nd. Cor. 3:14 -18.,..”for the invisible things of Him from Creation of the world ARE CLEARLY SEEN BEING UNDERSTOOD … EVEN HIS ETERNAL POWER AND GODHEAD Rom.1:20. Paul knew very well what he was writing, and he wrote at the same level to other churches in Christ, take note of this: How that by REVELATION he made known unto me the MYSTERY…whereby, when ye read, ye may understand MY KNOWLEDGE in the MYSTERY OF CHRIST. Eph. 3:3,4.

Whereof I am made a MINISTER according to the dispensation of God which is given to me FOR YOU,

To fulfill the word of God; EVEN THE MYSTERY WHICH HATH BEEN HID FROM AGES AND GENERATIONS, BUT NOW IS MADE MANIFEST TO HIS SAINTS, Col.1: 25,26.

AND TO MAKE ALL MEN SEE WHAT IS THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE MYSTERY…TO THE INTENT THAT NOW UNTO THE PRINCIPALITIES AND POWERS IN HEAVENLY PLACES MIGHT BE KNOWN BY THE CHURCH THE MANIFOLD WISDOM OF GOD. Eph. 3:9,10.

THAT THEIR HEARTS MIGHT BE COMFORTED, BEING KNIT TOGETHER IN LOVE, AND UNTO ALL RICHES OF FULL ASSURANCE OF UNDERSTANDING, TO THE ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF THE MYSTERY OF GOD, AND OF THE FATHER AND CHRIST. Col.2: 2.

NOW TO HIM THAT IS OF POWER TO STABLISH YOU ACCORDING TO MY GOSPEL, AND THE PREACHING OF JESUS CHRIST, ACCORDING TO THE REVELATION OF THE MYSTERY, WHICH WAS KEPT SECRET SINCE THE WORLD BEGAN, BUT NOW IS MADE MANIFEST, AND BY THE SCRIPTURES OF THE PROPHETS, ACCORDING TO THE COMMANDMENT OF THE EVERLASTING GOD MADE KNOWN TO ALL NATIONS FOR OBEDIENCE OF THE FAITH.

Rom. 16:25,26.

No one have to be a theologian in order to understand the array of quotations from sayings of the Apostle Paul, specially the last one,THERE CAN BE SEEN ANOTHER COMMANDMENT OF GOD AND FOR A REASON; …THE OBEDIENCE OF THE FAITH, and that, …BY THE SCRIPTURES… One must

Take it a special purpose from heart, a deep passion for the knowledge of the mystery of Christ The Lord, it is not an out of the Bible revelation, one must find final answers to scriptural questions in God’s Word, and accept as final authority what The Scripture says, since Scripture explain Scripture and nothing else can measure up to that. At this point, I feel this should be say also: that we are living in the days when if the word “obey” or “obedience” in mentioned by a Pentecostal Preacher, it scares some people on the pews and on the pulpits as well, they don’t want to hear any word that appears to be legalistic, they don’t want sermons with those words. The messages of salvation for today’s sinners should not have words like these: repent and obey the gospel, obey and be converted, obey and be baptized, obey to receive the Holy Ghost, obey and be sanctified by the truth, obey the truth, obey to be ready for the day of the coming of the Savior; O’ no, it is too much old church doctrine, (they say) OBVIOUSLY THEY DON’T ENJOY READING (IF THEY DO READ) THAT THERE IS A COMMANDMENT TO OBEY THE FAITH.

I am not writing this with sarcasm, neither I am trying to presume about my faith, but with a feeling of an urge that the more I regret, the more an energetic drive is present, please don’t quite reading now even if by now you are mad at me for what has been said this far; when you read the title of this reading material you knew it was a “touchy subject” and I want you to know dear reader who ever you are, the hope of being caught up to be in the presence of The Lord Jesus Christ at His coming; depends upon the manner in which one grasp the instructions of SALVATION giving in The Holy Word of God, NOT ONLY TO BELIEVE HIS PROMISES OF SALVATION BUT HIS WARNINGS AS WELL. And since there is a COMMANDMENT TO THE “OBEDIENCE OF THE FAITH”, one must not seek that faith outside of the Holy Book, as “they did” ( 200 A.D.-400 A. D. when running from one source of information to another, “they” found themselves among men of great intellect but stained with “pagan philosophy” (as it has been mentioned in other reading materials, and it will be mentioned more in future writings) that was the main reason they got into much trouble for years trying to find the proper words to explain IF The Lord Jesus was “similar” or “equal” to his Father; or if He was “of the same substance” of His Father, or “of like substance’ with His Father; and if both were of the same honor, authority, power, and majesty, and Jesus being “begotten before all worlds, but not made” he was destined to be called (by present day believers) eternally subordinated to His Father.

Those unintelligent bewilder undertakings lasted from 200 A.D.- 400 A.D. Today Catholic and most Protestant Denominations still are unsure of these assertions calling Jesus, The Eternal Son of God and The begotten Son of God before all worlds. They are not sure of which is the right possibility.

To probe my point allow me if you will, to present what I consider to be exposition # 1 (quote) D. The Uniqueness of God (cf. 111. Above) should prepare us for THE POSSIBILITY that the one divine Being exists uniquely as a plurality of persons. (end of quotation) emphasis is mine. This quotation is taken from THE BIBLICAL BASIS OF THE DOCTRINE OF THE TRINITY an outline study mailed to this writer by CHRISTIAN RESEARCH INSTITUTE INTERNATIONAL of which Mr. Hank Hanegraaf (Bible Answer Man) is the President.

So, it was to the heavenly “form” of God. That Jesus was referring to when He asked the rulers of the Jews …who’s Son is The Christ? (..the form of God..) And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.. Matt. 22:46.

As one “sees” the two natures, in the gospels, one most “see” also the resurrected, glorified celestial nature of the Lord in heaven now. WHEREFORE HENCEFORTH KNOW WE NO MAN AFTER THE FLESH: YEA, THOUGH WE HAVE KNOWN CHRIST AFTER THE FLESH, YET NOW HENCEFORTH KNOW WE HIM NO MORE. 2^nd. Cor. 5:16. FOR IN HIM DWELLETH ALL THE FULLNESS OF THE

GODHEAD BODILY. Col. 2:9.

The ..form of God.. Who’s fingers modeled Adam and Eve, and is our Maker, therefore; the Giver of the law, He became Man, in order to do what humanity could not do, (obey the Law of God) Therefore He came to fulfill every laws that were given by Him, and being the Giver of The Law, He became The fulfiller

AND THE END OF HIS OWN LAW. It is why He is qualified in His own right not only to sit in the heavenly throne as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, but also, to be seated at judgment day on the imposing Throne to judge ..the secrets of men… ,to render to each men according to his works.. ; since some people do not believe in works, this Judge, will judge their faith without works and pass in them judgment accordingly.

This heavenly Judge, is the most merciful Judge of all times, He even paid the price for the TRANSGRESIONS OF GUILTY PEOPLE, HE TOOK HIMSELF THE PENALTY OF DEATH FOR OUR SINS, AND BECAME THE END OF HIS OWN LAW FOR EVERY ONE THAT BELIEVE IN HIM AND IS A SAVIOR ESPECIALLY OF THOSE THAT PUT THEIR TRUTS IN HIM.

The Apostle Peter wrote this about the real identity of this Judge AND IF YE CALL ON THE FATHER WHO WITHOUT RESPECT OF PERSONS JUDGETH ACCORDING TO EVERY MAN’S WORK,…

THERE IS ONLY ONE God who will judge all mankind, here Peter said they call him Father, if one believes the Scripture means what they say and say what they mean He who sat on the white throne is no other that the Son given…THE Eternal Father.. Isa. 9:6,7.

A Jew man by name Saul, met this Judge-Savior in a country road and heard the voice of Him and even answered to Him, But he didn’t see His face, even so right there he was chosen to became an Apostle; there was a veil of glorious light between them both.

Those who have a “blurry” view of the Judge-Father on His Throne, there is a reason for it: Prophet Abakkuk tells of how He looks-like on His Throne. …THE HOLY ONE (on His Throne) …AND HIS GLORY COVERED THE HEAVENS…A BRILLIANT LIGHT WAS UNDER HIM; RAYS OF LIGHT WERE AT HIS SIDE; AND HE MADE THEM THE VEIL OF HIS MAJESTY. 3:3 Am. V.

That is what Stephen saw, Acts 7:56, and Paul wrote about and called ..the right hand of God… in Eph. 1:20, Col, 3:1, Heb. 8:1 & 10:12; as also Peter did it in 1s. Pet. 3:22. Most preachers by now know, that the term …right hand.. Is a figure of speech, and it is not in the original, TRINITARIAN TRANSLATORS MADE THE INCRUSTATION TO MAKE IT READ AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD, INSTEAD : ..SAT AT RIGHT OF GOD.. AND ..SITTING AT RIGHT OF GOD.., AND …STANDING AT RIGHT OF GOD.. , AND …THE SON OF MAN AT RIGHT STANDING OF GOD.. .

Now then, the sum of what has been said is: There is The Judge-Father on His August Throne of Judgment and Grace, in your side is the enigma of pagan definitions about His Deity, in the other side of the veil, (rays of glorious light) HE IS THERE, in all splendor of His grandeur , to be admired in His attire of glory, (shekinah ) that you have never been able to see, remember His flesh is a veil, as the veil of the Temple which divided The Holy Place from The Most Holy, the temple’s veil was made with three colors on it, BLUE, SCARLAT and PURPLE; BLUE REPRESENTING DIVINITY, SCARLAT REPRESENTING HUMANITY, THE COLOR OF HUMAN BLOOD, AND PURPLE, THE OUTCOME OF BLUE AND RED TOGETHER; JUST AS DIVINITY WAS ON HUMANITY …JEHOVAH BECAME SALVATION. (JESUS).

The Apostle Paul have this words for some professing believers; That the God of the Lord Jesus Christ the Father of Glory may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. The eyes of your understanding being enlightened … . Or in the original;…in order that the God of the Lord of us Jesus Christ the Father of glory may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in a full knowledge of him having been enlightened the eyes of your heart… Eph. 1:17,18 . That is the dawned of the revelation upon the human mind, the consciousness so sublime to bless your faith grow for ever, and you to bless others into the same experience that is offered freely, this is the reason for this writing, I most confess tears are rolling down from my eyes, I leave you there dear reader, in this side of the “veil”, you may be a nominal believer, o a preacher, a big preacher but with partial knowledge of Him; get nearer the “veil” acknowledging the meaning of the three colors on the veil, and hear Him whispering to you; …I WILL BE A FATHER TO YOU.. 2^nd.Cor. 6:18.
