CONCERNING THE CATHOLIC OWNERSHIP
OF THE TRINITY DOGMA.
Since the first time (2000)
that my writings about the Trinity dogma appeared for “Trinity preachers only”, the topic has been treated in
some well-established Christian net works. And I know that the views expressed hold the reality that in our days, we still
have modern ecclesiastical Platos; they, unknowlingly believe as the pagan philosopher did; that God was an “impassible
and aloof Being.”
This is the failure
of religious men that fight to recognize that there is a gulf of difference between pagan philosophy and plain truth from
the Word of God. Where from the doctrine of the trinity developed?
Most Trinitarians do
not know, others say that from the Bible; some of us know that it came not from the words of Jesus, his Apostles or the Old
Testament prophets. Apostolic letters let us know that a falling away was in their future and that there where going to appear
“new doctrines”, “strange doctrines”, “false doctrines” and even “doctrines of demons”.
It did happen, strange, isn’t it?
In Church History one
detects decay in Christianity after the fall of Jerusalem and because of the persecution multiple thousands of Jews moved
to Italy, Egypt, etc. At that time, Rome was suffocated in the grips of paganism; Greece and Egypt with mythology and philosophy
combined gave their contribution to a “new conception of the Universe.” Astrology, idolatry, sorcery, superstition
and transcendentalism planted their seeds on the fertile grounds of a hurting Christianity from 200-400 A.D. And a new religion
was build up on those elements mixed them on the faith of Jew/Gentiles hearing of plurality of celestial deities while they
were thinking in One God. And a hybrid message began to be accepted by the Gentile world given to them in figments of human
brains as the Word of God; as I have proved so many years writing in the subject, at present, Spring of 2009; I am standing
on better position holding new findings as a probe of my assertions against the most difficult and obscure doctrine in the
belief in a personal relation between God The Creator and His human Creation; a new Doctrine was imposed by tyranny, over
men’s consciences. (Read if you can) The Catholic Church Creeds’.
The Catholic Church
boast that “they” hold the ownership of the Doctrine of the Trinity, at the beginning of their invention, they
even used images of a single pagan deity with three heads on one body to educate Gentiles what was mean by Triune Divine Deity.
(Monasterio Trinitario de Madrid).
1. Spears. Preface,
p5 …the first teachers (Apostles, that is) did not understand those sublime mysteries…(the grace of the Lord Jesus
Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Ghost.)
2. Council of Constantinople
Canon 1, “The Holy Fathers assembled …have decided not to set aside the faith of the three hundred and eighteen
Fathers who met in Nicea, (presentation of the Trinity) but to let it remain sovereign and that every heresy be anathemized…”.
3. The Nicean Creed,
“We believe in one God, the Father Almighty maker of all things and in one Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God, begotten
of the Father, only begotten that is to say of the same substance of the Father…and in the Holy Ghost.” (One hundred
years later “they” made officially, that the Spirit was the third person acknowledging that the word “spirit”
in Greek Heh means “wind/breath.”
4. From the Athanasian
Creed, “Whosoever would be in state of salvation needed above all things to hold fast the Catholic faith which faith
except a man preserve whole and inviolated without doubt he will perish eternally, and the Catholic faith is this: “we
worship One God in Trinity, and the Trinity in unity.” (until then, the message of salvation was “…whosoever
shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Acts 2:38) It was changed for “whosoever call on the name
of the Trinity shall be saved”
5. “If anyone
shall not confess the Holy ever-Virgin Mary, truly and properly the Mother of God, to be higher than every creature whether
visible or invisible, and does not with sincere faith seek her intercession… “let him be anathema.” (The
invention of the trinity and of the mother of God are linked.)
6. “If anyone
does not confess that “God the Word” was twice begotten, the first before all time from the Father, non temporal
and bodiless, the other when he came down from heaven and was incarnated
by the Holy Glorious
God-beared, ever-virgin Mary, let him be anathema.” (The term “God the Word”
From John 1:1 was never
quote by any disciple of the Apostles but it began to be hearing late on 2nd. Cent. From pre Father of the Church
Justin and other philosophers; disciples of the Apostles refuted this new doctrine and were called heretics by Christian-Platonist.)
7. From one of their
own poet/writer, “We believe in one supersubstatial Being…in three
entities. I adore One God …three Persons…Where do you find in Old Testament…the Trinity or consubstantiality
or two natures of Messiah expressed in many words? Still as they are contained in what Scripture does say, and defined by
the Holy Fathers, we received them and anathematize those who do not.”
8. Pope Gregory of Nyssa,
“…the sweet and fair fount of the ancient faith that drew into one the august nature of the Trinity, of which
Nicea was once the school…”
9. Marius Victorinus,
“…but the three are One and the One three and the Three are thrice One, and the One is the same and sole…”
10. Tertullian admitted
they added to the meaning of the words of resurrected Savior: “hereupon we are thrice immersed making a somewhat ampler
response that the Lord appointed in the Gospel, one immersion for each Person”. (On the Didache, later on, the words
…baptizing in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, were interpolated on Matthew’s Gospel
28:19.)
In Canon 1 Council of
Constantinople 381 A. D. the Catholic Church stated that baptism in the name of Jesus; a single immersion into a single name
was invalid baptism. (From “them” all Denominations have adopted the same doctrine; against) “…those
who teach that the FATHER AND THE SON ARE ONE, and other heresies that does not hold the same beliefs as the Catholic and
Apostolic Church of God.”
11. Socrates Scholasticus,
“…the title Catholic Church should be exclusively confined to those who rendered equal homage to the Three Persons
of the Trinity…”
12. Pope Eugene, “…the most Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that
none of those existing outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also Jews and heretics, and schismatics, can ever
be partakers of eternal life, but that they are to go into the eternal fire.”
13. Emperor Theodotius
1, “…let us believe in one godhead consisting of the Father, Son
and Holy Ghost of equal majesty in a Holy Trinity, we command that the scribers to this faith to be called Catholic Christians…we
mark all senseless followers of other religions with the infamous title of heretics.”
14. Pope Agatho, “…of
the three consubstantional Persons, having been so taught by canonical logic…”
15.New Catholic Encyclopedia
1967. vol. 14, p. 299. “The formulation One God in Three Persons was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated
into Christian life and its profession of faith, prior to the end of the 4th. Century…among the Apostolic
Fathers, there had been nothing even remotely, approaching such mentality or perspective.” (Not Holy Trinity invention
yet, that is).
16. Pope Hilarinus,
“..And nobody is unaware that this is Catholic Doctrine, that there are two Persons of the Father and the Son…the
Trinity should always be preserved as we read in the gospel.”
17. Cardinal
Spellman, to “Protestant Churches”. “Yes you will accept our doctrine on Virgin Mary
in years
to come, same as you accepted our doctrine on the Trinity.” (How about that!)
In conclusion:
On pagan philosophy, first god is unbegotten, second is begotten and third proceeding. Rome’s definition of the trinity
goes: First God ingenerated, Second God generated from the Father before the ages, third God proceeds from the Father and
the Son= Three metaphysical concepts, to formulate the “fathers’ canonical logic” concept of One God; using
Plato’s philosophy. It is the core of the threefold hypostasis of orthodoxy; years later, Father Agustin, the spiritual
doctor of the church; who
took the
Trinity to England, and from there, “it” came to U.S. wrote: …The readings of Plato took me to the knowledge
of the true God and Jesus Christ show me the way... (Father Agustin’s life) 340+A.D.
