BEFORE and AFTER THE COUNCIL OF NICEA 325 A. D.
THE TIME WHEN BAPTISM IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST( Acts 2:38) WAS SUBSTITUTED FOR THE TITLES FATHER, SON AND HOLY
GHOST. (MATTHEW 28:19)
No evidences of Apostolic writings with the words Baptizing in The Name of The Father, the Son and Holy Ghost.
Only oral traditions of baptisms of Tertullian-Justin’s Formulas, right thru 2nd. Century when: Father
Hippolitus was baptizing his converts, three immersions. One for each Divine Person, and for remission of sins.
Eusebious, Bishop at Caesarea, about 300 A.D. wrote from the end of Matthew’s HEBREW gospel ……GO AND
TEACH THEM TO CARRY OUT ALL THE THINGS WHICH I HAVE COMMANDED YOU FOREVER.Eusebious was a pre-catholic,wrote nothing about
baptism in the three titles.
COUNCIL OF NICEA 325 A. D.:
TO THE EMPEROR CONSTANTINUS WAS PRESENTED A COPY OF THE
SO CALLED “THE APOSTLES’ CREED” WITH THE WORDS AT THE END
SAYING: “…even as our Lord also when He sent forth the disciples to preach the gospel SAID GO AND TEACH ALL
NATIONS BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER AND OF THE SON AND OF THE HOLY GHOST.”
IN THOSE YEARS, ANOTHER BISHOP OR HISTORIAN WROTE ABOUT
THE END OF MATTHEW’S GOSPEL QUOTING A BIT DIFFERENT THAT
EUSEBIOUS BUT ON THE SAME LANE: “…MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS AND THEY SHALL BELIEVE IN ME…”
The name of this person? Aphraates.
About 380 A. D. Father Damaso 1, gave order to gather all the letters from the Apostles to choose which to cannonize (N.T);
also all writings of Hebrew Chatacter were confiscated in Rome. (Certaily, no Trinitarian baptismal manner was officially
known yet.
390 A. D.(?) Father Donatus translating to Latin what was going to be N. T. but the Hebrew text from Matthew’s was
not used in the translation.
By now, (those days) some of the writings from Eusebious about the end of Matthew’s Gospel they appeared with the
interpolated words “baptizing them in the name of the Father And of the Son and the Holy Ghost,” but not
by his own hand; he was already dead. Then it was discovered: the manuscripts Hebrew and Syriac from Matthew’s gospel,
both were mutilated and the parts with the important evidence torn out. UNBELIABLE? YET IT IS TRUE!
400 A. D. A persecution against people baptized or baptizer “in the Name of The Lord Jesus Christ” followed
and THE DARK AGE BEGAN!
Father Donatos who was the translator from the Greek to the Latin; he is accused of making some alterations on Eusebious
writings, but was he, the one who interpolated the words “…baptizing in the name of the Father and of the Son
and of the Holy Ghost” on the writing from Apostle Matthew in the Greek text?
